This post is advertised to support the anaesthetic department at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. This post is a fixed term initially for two years.

The post is designed to provide general anaesthetics job for 6-7 sessions per week in all areas of anaesthesia and would suit someone who has a general but non-specialty interest in anaesthesia. The successful applicant would become part of the general Specialty Doctor weekend daytime resident rota with a 1 in 8 frequency.

To succeed you must be a fully registered medical practitioner and have a minimum of 2 years of anaesthetic experience.

Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is a University Teaching Hospital with 1293 beds and an annual budget of £481 million. The Trust supports a variety of tertiary services and is both a Major Cancer Centre and Major Trauma Centre. The East Riding of Yorkshire is a very popular place to live. It extends to several well known East Coast resorts as well as containing the Yorkshire Wolds and Yorkshire Moors. The cost of living is significantly lower than elsewhere in the country making it an excellent place to achieve a good work/life balance.

Please note, the Trust operates a 7 day working pattern.
