The East Riding of Yorkshire is a very popular place to live. It extends to several well known East Coast resorts as well as containing the Yorkshire Wolds and Yorkshire Moors. Hull has been selected as the UK City of Culture 2017 and in preparation for this is undergoing a massive transformation with many exciting events planned. Hull is also a thriving university city with excellent shopping and leisure facilities including concert halls, theatres and the largest aquarium in Europe. It has excellent road and rail links with the rest of Britain, as well as ferry and air links to Europe. The cost of living is significantly lower than elsewhere in the country making it an excellent place to achieve a good work/life balance.
