We are looking for a motivated individual to join us in providing an efficient and effective secretarial and administrative service within our Ophthalmology Department based at Hull Royal Infirmary.

The successful candidate will be working closely with our Consultants and Medical Secretaries. You will be required to receive and deal with telephone calls, undertake filing and post, as well as the accurate production and editing of clinical correspondence using the G2 audio system.

To succeed you must be conscientious and hard-working, and be able to demonstrate experience of working to deadlines and the ability to prioritise. You must also be able to use different electronic clinical systems and voice recognition systems, and be proficient in the use of word processing and office software (e.g., Microsoft office). It is essential you have knowledge and experience of a range of secretarial procedures.  RSA ll would be advantageous, but not essential.
