We are now seeking apprentices to join our specialist hubs of clerical professionals who provide the essential administrative support that help our patients through their treatment and care.

What is the role?

We are looking for remarkable Clinical Administration Apprentice candidates for our 13-month Business Administration Apprenticeship (Level 2) programme. The successful candidates will provide efficient and effective administrative services to our clinical administration hubs across all HUTHT sites. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively with staff and patients, and perform duties accurately including answering the telephone, data input, producing documents, filing and archiving.

Who are we looking for?

The post will be demanding so we are looking for candidates who are ready for the challenge and share our values of care, honesty, and accountability. You will need to be able to demonstrate good communication and team working skills.

Eligibility and entry requirements

Applicants need to hold, or are anticipating to gain a minimum of 3 GCSE grades A*-C and a minimum Level 1 in Numeracy and Literacy (GCSE Grade D/new grade 3). You must be aged 16 or over and have been resident in the UK/EU for the last three years. You must not hold a similar business administration qualification (including apprenticeship) at Level 2 or higher.

Future Prospects

During your 12 month apprenticeship you will be gaining valuable, transferable administrative skills and experiences that will enable you to apply for further jobs/posts in administration, both in the NHS and other sectors. Currently, over 94% of our administration apprentices apply and successfully secure permanent roles after their apprenticeship!
