Are you already working at an advanced level of clinical practice? Do you have experience of working in an autonomous role? Do you want to join a team of Advanced Clinical Practitioners within cardiothoracic surgery?
You must be an experienced registered health professional with the drive and ambition to succeed in an Advanced Clinical Practitioner role role within Hull University teaching Hospitals.
The post is aimed at a registered clinical practitioner who has already completed an MSc in Advanced Practice and has already successfully completed an independent Non-medical prescribing course (V300) but is willing to develop themselves further within the cardiothoracic setting. Developed critical thinking skills and a track record of autonomous practice are essential.
Clinical supervision and education will be provided by a named supervisor from the team of cardiothoracic consultants and a comprehensive package of capabilities covering core and cardiothoracic specialist knowledge and skills will need to undertaken. Following completion of the approved package of training you will progress to a qualified ACP at AFC Band 8a.
The post holder will join a team of 2 qualified ACPs and 1 trainee. Hours of work will be Monday to Sunday 08.00 to 18.00
