Are you looking for promotion in a busy and developing environment within Critical care at HRI and CHH. We are looking to recruit Band 6 senior Staff nurses who can demonstrate a dynamic approach to their work and who have commitment, drive and enthusiasm to drive the development of our services.

The post holder is responsible for ensuring the effective running of the department, providing clinical leadership and managerial support in the absence of the Charge Nurse, working as a highly skilled member of the multidisciplinary team, practising a high standard of clinical care and being key to improve the patient’s experience. The post holder will supervise the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care during their span of duty and support and encourage the concept of team working, team development and collaboration between team members

You will need to be prepared to work within a busy environment and be forward thinking and passionate about delivering a high standard of care.
Applicants should have an enthusiastic approach to teaching students and junior members of staff. You must have a clear idea regarding your career development and be a team player with a flexible attitude to meet the service needs.

The post requires 24 hour rotation and weekend working and you may be required to rotate to HRI/CHH Intensive Care Units.
