An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Professional Lead for Dietetics within Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

The therapy services across Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust are in the process of becoming a fully integrated service, hence the post holder will be supporting both the Head and Deputy Heads of Therapy Service in relation to this exciting opportunity, ensuring that the profession of dietetics is adequately considered in the planning, development and evaluation of this integration.

The post holder will be primarily responsible for both the professional and operational leadership of the Dietetics service within the acute Trust; but will also have a deputising role for other therapy services as required to support Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy in the absence of other Therapy Managers

The dietetics service within Hull University Teaching Hospitals provides dietetic care into both Hull Royal Infirmary & Castle Hill Hospitals and Renal Units across Hull & East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire as well as offering extensive outpatient services across a range of clinical specialities from both an adult and paediatric perspective.

There may at times be a clinical element to the role which will be determined according to the speciality of the successful post holder.

Student training is provided across the organisation to all levels of students with developments underway to also adopt a fully integrated approach to student education.

If you are looking for a chance to shape the future of Dietetics within an integrated therapy service then this is an excellent opportunity, working within a forward thinking and supportive team.
