Hull University Teaching Hospital Emergency Department is based at Hull Royal Infirmary. The department in recent years has undergone a major 12 million pound redevelopment providing first class facilities, furthermore a redevelopment programme is underway to improve and enhance our walk in / Primary care facilities
Our Emergency Care area currently has 180 -200 patients attending a day, we are embarking on implementing a full streaming model in the facility . As we embark on this new way of delivering high quality care in the Primary Care facilities we are looking to recruit qualified emergency care practitioners to complement our already established team of practitioners and medical staff
We welcome applications from ECPs / ENPs who are looking to work autonomously, seeing and treating patients with minor illness and injuries in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment. You will need to have the Emergency Practitioner course or equivalent and non-medical prescribing would be desirable. The candidate must be an autonomous practitioner with experience in the assessment, treatment and discharge of patients attending with urgent care presentations and minor injuries
Hull Emergency Department are passionate about getting it right for patients and their families. To support this we are looking to appoint passionate, enthusiastic motivated and dynamic individuals who are able to work as part of the team , have excellent communication ,interpersonal skills and experiences in autonomous practice
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
