Newly qualified, experienced nurses, all are welcome no prior endoscopy experience required. We are a growing speciality with an exciting future. We are looking for dynamic individuals willing to take on a new challenge to join our friendly team due to expansion. Endoscopy as a speciality is a great learning environment and full of exciting diverse career progression opportunities, this is just the beginning. You will acquire unique skills and knowledge. We are closely affiliated with the Yorkshire School of Endoscopy, one of the regional training schools in England since 1996.

The Endoscopy service consists of 8 rooms across both Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital. You will care for patients as they journey through the department from assessment pre-procedure, during the procedure and throughout their recovery and discharge. The service runs Monday to Saturday and evening sessions throughout the week. You will be part of an on call service for emergency acute patients.

The Trust runs the second biggest national bowel cancer screening outside of London; we deliver advanced endoscopic mucosal resection to our region. In addition to this the endoscopic ultrasound service is part of the regional cancer centre. As well as the routine elective procedures the department provides acute, fast paced therapeutic procedures with management of acutely ill patients. In total in 2018 we delivered over 20,000 procedures to our region. We are part of a diverse and dynamic digestive diseases speciality involving many different disciplines.
