This is a unique opportunity to join a renowned Integrated Inflammatory bowel disease clinical and research unit at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.  This unit has national and international reputation for high quality personalised clinical care, high impact research programmes

There are 2 posts available both at Fellow/Registrar level. These posts can be mainly research focussed or combine clinical IBD with research. You will be able to work in a well-functioning multidisciplinary team environment and receive exposure to complex IBD management, clinical and translational research and ability to network with leaders in IBD nationally and internationally.  This will be also suitable for Post-CCT Fellowship for suitable successful applicant. These posts will be with Professor Sebastian working within the IBD service in the department of gastroenterology 

Positions are for 1 year in the first instance and thereafter subject to annual review to a maximum of 2 years dependent upon satisfactory work, progress. Funding for salary costs is available for these posts. It is essential for the applicants to have  MRCP UK or equivalent. It is preferable for applicants to have a numbered training position within Gastroenterology & Hepatology and have completed at least 1 year of specialist training in gastroenterology These posts may carry partial recognition for Higher Specialist Training.  

The posts vary between having minimal clinical commitment to 6 clinical sessions.  The clinical commitment will be based on the candidates selected. The department has the ability to supervise applicants who have a research interest to progress to a higher degree within University of Hull in conjunction with Hull and York medical School.
