We are looking for an enthusiastic band 5 nurse to join our team. It is desirable they have experience of gastroenterology nursing but we welcome newly qualified nurses and will provide a supportive preceptorship package with opportunity to learn and develop.

You should have excellent communication skills and a desire to work within the multidisciplinary team delivering a co-ordinated  approach to high quality safe patient care. You will have to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously as well as within a dedicated team. Accurate and safe clinical assessments of patients is routine.

We require hard working, flexible individuals to work within our team and support the ward vision going forward.

The hours of work will include 24/7internal rotation days and nights.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
