An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Housekeeper to join the Gynaecology Clinics and EPAU/EGU nursing team based at The Women’s and Children’s Hospital at Hull Royal Infirmary. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person for this busy and varied department.

 The gynaecology clinics provide services for women undergoing a variety of gynaecological minor procedures, consultations, investigations, and also surgical pre-assessments for Gynaecological surgery. You will play an essential role within the department working collaboratively as an integral member of the clinic team to meet the needs of patients, following the HEY NHS Trust policies and procedures to deliver quality services for the patients. This will be particularly pertaining to efficient stock control, ordering of supplies and ensuring the provision and maintenance of surgical and monitoring equipment. You will be required to work closely with suppliers and support services to ensure that the environment is maintained and equipment is readily available to provide a safe and efficient service.

The successful applicant will have a positive and professional attitude, have excellent communication skills, be committed to the HEY NHS Trust Vision and Values, and be motivated to learn and share new ideas for improving the patient experience and service. The applicant should also be committed to delivering a high quality service for patients.  Flexibility and teamwork are essential for the role and demands of this busy and varied department. It is essential that the applicant has knowledge of IT systems for this role.

Previous experience would be desirable although not essential as full training can be provided.
