An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Health Care Assistant to join the Gynaecology Minor Procedures and Outpatients department nursing team based at The Women’s and Children’s Hospital at Hull Royal Infirmary. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person for this busy and varied department.

You will play an essential role within the department providing a service for women undergoing a variety of gynaecological minor procedures, consultations, investigations, and also surgical pre-assessments for Gynaecological surgery. The service also provides a wide range of nurse-led services in gynaecology and gynae-oncology clinics at HRI & CHH and within the wider community promoting a seamless service within a MDT framework.

The successful applicant will have a positive and caring attitude, have excellent communication skills, be committed to the HEY NHS Trust Vision and Values, and be motivated to learn and share new ideas for improving the patient experience and service. The applicant should also be committed to delivering a high quality service for patients. Flexibility and teamwork are essential for the role and demands of this busy and varied department.

Some cross site working may be required

Previous experience not essential as full training will be provided.
