Ward Housekeeper, Ward 130, Paediatric Medicine 27 hours per Week, day shifts covering 4 days a week.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and motivated individual to work as part of a well-established health care team on a busy 20 bedded paediatric medical ward, which provides a 24 hour service to the children and young people of Hull and the surrounding area. The Housekeeper role will be flexible with the main objectives being to ensure we have a clean and tidy ward, equipment is well maintained, patients’ nutritional needs are met and stock levels are closely monitored.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in the care sector or a customer service environment and be able to prioritise their own workload and work without direct supervision. Excellent communication skills are vital and you must be committed to the HEY NHS Trust Vision and Values. The applicant should also be committed to delivering a high quality service for patients, with a focus on family centred care & enhancing the patient’s experience. Flexibility and teamwork are essential for the role and demands of a busy and varied workload.

** Salary relates to year 2 of 3 year NHS pay deal
