An opportunity has arisen for motivated Staff Nurse to join our dedicated nursing team in providing and developing nursing care within the acute medicine division Acute Medical Unit. The post will involve nursing and managing acutely ill patients within acute setting with expected length of stay of less than 12hours. The position is open to post-registration and newly qualified nursing staff.

This exciting opportunity will allow individuals to work alongside a team who are devoted to continually improve the quality of care and enhance the patient’s experience, as well as ensuring safe and seamless discharge planning. The post will include 24hour rotation including nights and weekends.

In return for commitment and dedication we offer a comprehensive preceptorship package with the teacher practitioner and the opportunities to learn and develop nursing skills to support patients admitted with acute complex medical conditions.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
