Neonatal Feeding Support Lead,  Band 6,  37.5 hours / week

Hull and East Yorkshire NHS Trust Women’s and Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a Level 3 Tertiary Unit within the Yorkshire Neonatal Network. NICU has 26 cots 5 of which are Intensive Care, 7 High Dependency and 14 Special Care. We are a large and very friendly team which prides itself on offering excellent care to the vulnerable babies on the unit.

We are looking for a Band 6 Neonatal Feeding Supporter to work within the neonatal team supporting staff and families on the Neonatal Unit and Transitional Care Unit. The applicant must have Specialist Neonatal knowledge and will need to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience at Band 5 level within Neonates.

We provide care for babies of 23 week gestation and above, which includes a variety of both medical and surgical conditions.

As part of the Neonatal Service you will be working alongside the neonatal team supporting and engaging families and staff, providing education and developing the service.
