Calling all internationally educated staff. If you were a Registered Nurse back home and you want to train to be a Registered Nurse here, we can help.

We are looking for a cohort of enthusiastic and hardworking health care support workers with the aim to register as a Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Registered Nurse following a programme of development, Hull University Teaching Hospitals (HUTH) will provide the potential candidate with the opportunity to train and complete your NMC OSCE (Observed Structured Clinical Exam), and then have a period of supervision and precetorship prior to commencing as a Registered Nurse in HUTH.

Once this programme has completed you’ll be using your knowledge and expertise as a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, meeting the holistic requirements of patient care in our diverse organisation.

You will need to demonstrate that you are highly motivated, enthusiastic, well organised and are able to work both independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills are essential.

This role is a professional development opportunity leading to a Registered Nurse, the requirements are you will need to complete the NMC online registration for overseas applicants and complete the NMC online Self-Assessment of eligibility to apply to be an NMC registrant to be eligible for the applications process.

The next step in the process is obtaining an NMC Decision Letter, you must be able to provide evidence or be willing to work towards completing an NMC approved English qualification (this includes evidence of recent study with written, reading, listening and English speaking assessment), and CBT (Computer Based Training) prior to commencement of OSCE training.

This post would be suitable for staff with previous international registration experience only, and recent acute caring experience.
