CONSULTANT POSTS IN PLASTIC AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY

Due to pending retirements the Plastics Surgery service in Hull is currently looking for TWO new consultants to become part of our Plastic Surgery team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

Applications are invited for the posts of Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with a special interest in skin cancer and Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with a special interest in Hand Surgery and / or Limb reconstruction.

The successful candidates will join our expanding Department of Plastic Surgery, with 11 Plastic Surgery consultants, covering a wide range of specialist interests. These posts are full-time substantive posts working with a 10 PA job plan.

Applicants should possess full GMC registration, FRCS (Plast) and either already be on the Specialist Register or be within 6 months of receiving their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) at the time of interview.

The successful candidates will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, sharing clinical duties and will take part in the on-call rotas (including a trauma rota).

A provisional timetable for the posts is included in the job description and person specification to illustrate an indicative weekly timetable.
