Infection Research Group: Research Nurse Secondment Opportunity (12 months)

We currently have a rare opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and motivated qualified nurse to join our team.

This is an opportunity to develop experience and knowledge of clinical research and to be part of the clinical team in the delivery of high quality innovative patient care. Being a research nurse combines traditional patient care and nursing duties with the less familiar world of research protocols.

You will be able to prioritise your own workload and display good interpersonal skills in working with the staff of all levels both within the Trust and external partners.

The post will be split across Castle Hill Hospital and Hull Royal Infirmary and a degree of flexibility will be required as the post holder will be expected to be able to work between sites depending on demand.

Although the post holder’s primary focus would be within Infectious Diseases, there is an expectation that you are also responsive to the research needs of the organisation and may therefore be required to work in other research areas within the Trust.
