Band 5 RSCN, RN (Child). This post offers an excellent opportunity for a paediatric nurse keen to develop their nursing skills. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join our dedicated 4 bedded Paediatric High Dependency Unit which cares for children from 0-16years requiring level 2 critical care.
We offer a variety of experience and look after a range of specialities including paediatric medicine and surgery, ENT, orthopaedics, endocrinology, respiratory, gastroenterology, and are well developed in our non-invasive ventilatory support. Our philosophy is to work closely together with the multidisciplinary team in a friendly environment with a commitment to the provision of high quality paediatric critical care.
A minimum of 1 year post qualifying experience at Band 5 is essential. The successful applicant will have a mentorship qualification or be willing to undertake the training and will be expected to undertake an EPLS course.
You should be confident in your nursing abilities, well organised, forward thinking, proactive, have excellent communication skills and be a team player. If you are keen to work closely with critically ill children and their families to provide high quality care we would love to hear from you.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
