We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced operational manager to work as a Business Support Manager for the Family and Women’s Health Group.

The Family and Women’s Health Group provides business and operational management support to Breast Surgery, Dermatology, ENT, Gynaecology and Gynaecological Oncology, Obstetrics, Ophthalmology, Community Paediatrics, Paediatric Medicine, Neonatology, Paediatric Surgery and Plastic Surgery.

The post will work with the Business Manager and Divisional General Manager along with the Senior Matrons and Clinical Leads/Directors for each service. The team is responsible for the delivery of safe, high quality and effective clinical services within the Family & Women’s Health Group at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, ensuring that all targets, deadlines and governance agenda are delivered.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a forward thinking experienced manager. The post will report directly to the Business Manager; however they will be expected to work with a high level of autonomy in a self-directed way within the parameters set for the post.

The key skills that the post requires is the ability to multi task and manage conflicting deadlines and demands. Previous experience of working within a leadership role and excellent communication and organisational skills are also required for this role.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic development of services.

** Salary relates to year 2 of 3 year NHS pay deal
