Hull University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust provides a comprehensive range of acute services from two hospital sites to almost 600,000 people in the Hull and East Yorkshire area. We are a teaching hospital and provide a number of sub regional specialities, serving a population of 1.2 million in North Yorkshire, North and North East Lincolnshire.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist with previous experience in core areas of Outpatient Occupational Therapy  to join our busy Outpatient Occupational and Physiotherapy Service .

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a team leader role in the planning, delivering and evaluation of the Occupational Outpatient Service in partnership with other Clinical Lead Staff .  

The post requires a skilled clinician who is forward thinking, self-motivated, possesses excellent communication skills and has extensive experience in OT rehabilitation for acute outpatients .

This post will provide an exciting opportunity for development of inter-professional skills, working closely with other disciplines.

 All applicants must have previous senior experience in core areas of outpatient Occupational Therapy within an acute care setting.( including plastics, orthopaedics and rheumatology)  

The Outpatient Therapy Service is a forward thinking service committed to evidence based practice and continuous professional development .

You will be required to participate in ongoing CPD and in – service training. You will be fully supported by experienced clinical lead occupational therapists and physiotherapists. Protected CPD time as well as an experienced mentor is provided alongside in-service programmes including case presentations and peer review. You will also be actively involved in the marketing, promotion and growth of the Outpatient Therapy Service within the site and local area .
