Vacancies have arisen within the Microbiology and Virology laboratories for enthusiastic and dedicated Biomedical Scientists to join the team and play an important role in the day to day running of the laboratory. these posts are for the virology section of the laboratory

We are looking for well-motivated, Biomedical Scientists to complement our existing team providing a diagnostic service for the Hull and East Yorkshire area.

The roles requires the suitable candidates to work in all sections of the laboratory at the Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill hospital site of this UKAS accredited laboratory.

This is a well-equipped, laboratory providing a wide range of specialised and routine tests and handling approximately 500,000 specimens per year.

The post holder will be required to work flexibly depending on the needs of the service which may include any future integrated shift system/rotation pattern which operates in the Department (i.e. either day or night throughout seven days per week).

Candidates should possess a BSc in biomedical science and be HCPC registered.

Consideration will be given to applicants who have completed their degree but need to complete their registration portfolio.
