An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Blood Transfusion department at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.  The department is responsible for the transfusion requirements of patients, and offers a range of tests and services to ensure the safe and effective use of blood components and products for patients.

The Transfusion Practitioners are available to offer educational and supportive link between clinical and scientific staff.  They aid the development of clinical polices, guidelines and research based practice to relevant clinical groups. 

The post holder is required to have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, a proven ability to manage change; strong verbal, analytical and written communication skills will be critical.
